Dr. Melanie Stanley BScK, D.C.
Dr. Melanie Stanley was born and raised in Antigonish county. She attended St. Francis Xavier University and eventually moved to Halifax where she graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2011. Dr. Melanie went on to pursue her career as a Chiropractor at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Melanie decided to move home after graduation and worked at Peak Energy Chiropractic for 6 years where she treated patients within the Halifax area.
She has decided to move back home to raise her family and open her own clinic called Restore Motion Chiropractic.
Dr. Melanie believes in optimal health through movement and nutrition. She now would like to serve her hometown of Antigonish to help alleviate ailments and educate the public on overall wellness.
Holly Simms BSc HK, MSc HK, DOMP
Holly was born and raised here in Antigonish. Holly is excited to move her practice back to the town she loves.
After multiple university degrees in human kinetics- the study of body mechanics and function- including a graduate degree, Holly trained at the esteemed College d'Etudes Osteopathiques receiving a Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practice.

Aletha Stewart RMT
Allie is a Registered Massage Therapist from Antigonish, she studied at the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in 2022. She trained in general Swedish massage with special interest in pre-postnatal massage, and along with infant massage. Wanting to find more ways to support women/families in her community, she received her training to become a Birth and Post Part Doula as well in 2022.
She has experienced massaging individuals as young as 4 days old and as old as 98 years old. She loves giving her clients the power of knowledge, so feel free to ask her anything about massage, anatomy, birth and postpartum period.
When not in Restore Motion, you can find Allie spending time with her daughter or family, driving around town or at her other place of work, Siesta Massage.
